Experts Seminar & Glaucoma Diagnosis Seminar
Carl Zeiss India Pvt. Ltd. has been conducting regular Glaucoma Diagnosis Seminars/Perimetry lectures all over India. This educational initiative has now been going on for the last 3 years. The main aim of these seminars and lectures is to create more awareness among ophthalmologists/glaucoma specialists/general physician’s etc. on Glaucoma Disease Analysis and its management as well as the role of Perimeters in this cause.
For these seminars and lectures, Dr. Ravi Thomas and Dr. G. Chandrashekar of L.V.Prasad Eye institute, Hyderabad have always been kind enough and have been constantly lending us support.
Dr. Vincent Michael Patella, Vice President, Clinical Affairs, Carl Zeiss Meditec Inc. (Formerly Humphrey Systems) has always supported this cause with his expertise in Glaucoma and Perimetry.
Taking a further step to our educational initiative, we felt that there is a need to have speakers in each and every major city. We invited 8 select Ophthalmologists to an interactive session with Dr. Patella, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Chandrashekar. on February 01, 2003 followed by a“ Glaucoma Diagnosis Seminar” on February 02, 2003 “ at Hotel Sayaji, Indore.
On February 02, 2003 a Glaucoma Diagnosis Seminar was held at the same venue. This was attended by about 70 doctors from the Indore and other parts of M.P. It was a whole day session with Dr. Ravi Thomas, Dr. G.Chandrashekar. and Dr. Mike Patella. Session was very interactive and the participants who attended this had an in-depth discussion on Glaucoma and its management. | Information
