The burden of diabetes is increasing all the times and is the incidence of Diabetic Retinopathy. With this there is an increased need for expert ophthalmologists for Diabetic Retinopathy.
Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd. (AJEHPL) in association with Carl Zeiss India is setting up a retinal Laser training course for ophthalmologists in medical retina conditions with emphasis on diabetic retinopathy. The candidates will get exposure in retinal lasers, with hands on training in green laser (532 nm) with special emphasis on PRP and macular lasers.
There will be theory lectures of the above. The course aims at making the candidate versatile with both forms of delivery viz Slit Lamp and Indirect Laser Ophthalmology.
